Tallow Lip Balm

Tallow is rendered beef (or mutton) fat, and it’s a centuries-old tradition in human skincare. It’s similar to the oils produced by human skin, so its a great natural skincare product.

The primary ingredient in our tallow lip balm is 100% grass fed beef tallow that we harvest from our own animals here on the farm. We use a gentle salt-water rendering process to make it suitable for skincare use. Once the tallow has been carefully rendered, we blend it with beeswax for a firm consistency and add honey from a local small farm for its pleasant taste and many skin benefits. Finally, we scent the lip balm with pure essential oils.
